Stacey promoted to lead Lady Jays Matt Stacey has been named as the new head coach of the Jefferson City Lady Jays soccer team. Stacey has been an assistant coach for the past five years for both the Lady Jays and the Jays, serving primarily as a goalkeeper coach. The teams have had three all-state goalkeepers under Stacey, who also served as goalkeeper coach at Columbia College for two seasons. “I'm excited about this opportunity,” Stacey said. “We have a very talented group of returning players. Hopefully we can continue the strong winning tradition that is associated with Jefferson City High School athletics.” Stacey replaces Chris Miller, the Lady Jays' head coach the past five seasons. |
