| Lady Jays blank Kickapoo in soccer
May 6, 2008 News Tribune The Jefferson City Lady Jays blanked Kickapoo 3-0 at the 179 Soccer Park on Monday. It was Senior Night for four Lady Jays - Hannah Mantle, Kelsey Sanders, Katie Denning and Ashley Moore. The Lady Jays (11-8-1), who lost just two home games this season, will wrap up the regular season Thursday at Wentzville Timberland. The Lady Jays are the No. 1 seed in next week's Class 2 District Tournament at Sedalia. In Monday's JV game, Kickapoo blanked Jefferson City 2-0. The Lady Jays are now 10-7-2. |
