SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays wrapped up play in the Kickapoo Invitational with a loss and a tie Saturday.

The Lady Jays opened with a 2-0 loss to Notre Dame: St. Louis.

Kelsey Sanders then scored two goals as the Lady Jays tied Rogers, Ark., at 2. Kara Steiner had an assist in the contest.

The Lady Jays (4-5-1) will play Tuesday at Hickman. Jefferson City will then host Quincy, Ill., on Thursday before hosting the Capital City Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays dropped a 3-1 decision to Springfield Glendale in the Springfield Kickapoo Invitational on Friday.

Katie Kelly had the lone goal for the Lady Jays off an assist from Kelsey Sanders.

Jefferson City (4-4) will play a pair of games in the event today - one at 8:30 a.m. and the other at 1 p.m. - against opponents to be determined.

In a change due to the recent rainy weather, the Lady Jays' game with Hannibal that had been scheduled for Thursday, then rescheduled for May 6, has now been canceled and will not be made up.

Jefferson City's game with Rock Bridge will be made up at 6:45 p.m. on April 21 at the 179 Soccer Park.
